IKANO Group represents a group of companies originating in Scandinavia and owned by Kamprad family.

IKANO had been part of IKEA (founded by Ingvar Kamprad in the forties of the last century) since 1970 and became an independent group in 1988. It is divided into six divisions: Finance, Real Estate, Asset Management, Insurance, Venture Investments and Retail – and is active in most European countries. The Real Estate division operates in Scandinavia, the Czech Republic, Austria and Portugal.

IKANO Properties in Prague has been founded in 1991. ”Sensitively combined traditional and modern architecture” has been the company’s strategy for the past decade. While respecting unique architectural mixture of the city center, IKANO still meets demands for modern and efficient properties, both commercial and residential, and thus creates a portfolio of high standard, long-term property investments.

Since 1992, IKANO Properties has developed a number of projects to international standards in the centre of Prague, with ample provision of supporting services. The projects include Růžová 17 (Sept. 1993), Malá Štěpánská 9 (July 1994), Pařížská 23 (Aug. 1994), Krakovská 9 (Oct. 1995), Pařížská 22 (Jan. 1996), Letenské náměstí 3 (July 1997), Pštrossova 24 (June 1999) and Stará Celnice (Feb. 2001).
